Windows 10: I have the same problem as MANY others - even my Thunderbird is set as standard I can not...

Then one customer wrote: I find Microsoft response humorous. Why don't they just tell the people the truth. The only way to resolve the email problem is to purchase Outlook through Office 365. It is a glitch they put in the system in Windows 10. Other options is to use another email client besides Windows Mail. One other option is to edit the registry and remove the glitch. How to remove "the glitch"?

Thunderbird problems

Right, so my gf's dad tried to back up his mail from Thunderbird to a network HDD by changing the location of the local folder for all his accounts, which is like 3 or 4. Now, none of his mail or accounts show up in Thunderbird and they aren't listed on the network drive. I was able to locate all the mail in its original location in AppData, but I don't know how to get it back to the way it was. Any ideas would help, thanks in advance.
