I tried changing my location in Windows settings but it says "Some Settings Managed by your Organization" no matter what I do. I have gone on countless posts and cannot find a solution to my problem. I have edited the registry, removed all work/school accounts, editing policies in gpedit.msc, checking for malware and enabling telemetry using countless commands to no avail. I believe this is because I somehow accidentally joined a workgroup and I cannot leave it because the "Network ID" button is greyed out. I am currently Windows 11 22H2 Home. Thanks in advance

    :)

  2. "Some settings are managed by your organization"

I'm trying to enable app notifications, but the slider is grayed out, with a message at the top of the settings pane saying "Some settings are managed by your organization."

    • I am not a member of any domain or network
    • The issue has persisted between an antivirus replacement and each of those antivirus programs being disabled
    • I've already tried setting telemetry to "enhanced" and to "full," as many people have suggested, but to no effect.
    • I also do not have the Group Policy Editor, as I am on Home edition, so I am unable to perform any of the fixes through that method.

    What do I do?

  3. "Some settings are hidden or managed by your organization"

Thank you for the link. I was able to set my Diagnostics Data to Full by using gpedit.msc. But I still am not able to get rid of "Some settings are hidden or managed bu your organization."

    Any advise?

Good, you have included a screenshot of the configured update policies. The policies shown should all be modifiable in the Group Policy editor (assuming this is a W10 Pro machine).

Click Start and type gpedit to find and open it. Select 'Administrative templates' in the left panel. On the Action menu select 'Filter On'. Then on the Action menu select 'Filter Option...'. Set 'Configured' to 'Yes' in the type of policy and click the OK button. Now select 'Administrative Templates > All settings' in the left panel.

The right panel will now list all configured policies. Double-click one each one to see what it does and to modify it. Set each policy you don't want to 'Not Configured' to remove it.
