Windows 10: i have this problem where windows keeps saying i am trying to open a sys file ,

so it keeps popping up randomly , i triend opening the dll file with wordpad in an effort to find out its origin but in vain , here below is the error message and the file in case any one knows it's source and what should i do to fix this problem and thanks in advance , i triend sfc scannow and other commands but nothing worked , i saw that i must delete the app or the thing thaat is trying to open that file but i couldn't figure out which app it is

Windows 10 says that documents folder is a .sys file


Thanks for the suggestion Ztrucker, there was an S attribute set and I have done as you suggested.

Now, in explorer the Documents folder shows as a "file"???

opening .dds files with gimp

Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?
