Windows 10: I have three TVS I can cast to on my network. Today, one disappeared - but only for my PC...

Very strange. I connected to it and used it as a 4th, extendable display. I have two others on the the network - all three worked. Now only 2 of the three work.Today, only 2 show up with WIN +K on my PC.But if I go to my Apple or Android Phone all three show up still and are castable.IT is a Roku, and I did have it set to "always allow" my pc to connect. I took off that option but did not put it on deny - and it is just hidden from my PC only. Thoughts?

Is it possible to cast sequential files to TV? (Related: Fire TV Stick

Hi, recently I rediscovered I could cast files to my old smart TV across the room via the router next door. (That happens to be via the Youview box (streams, records) connected by ethernet, and to the TV). However, even if I have a file list displayed in the cast dialogue box, after one file has been played, casting stops, and I need to manually select the next file. I did try a play list file, but of course that's not regarded as a valid format in that context, even though there's a Cast context menu entry for it and it's added to the list in the cast dialogue box. Other than using a converter to merge files and to play that, is there any way to cast a list of files sequentially? I've not looked at Windows media player yet. Update After floundering around with playlists and WMP, I finally found there's ONE way to create a play list in WMP that, when cast, does actually play the files in playlist sequentially. This gives an idea:

However, despite some guides suggesting it should be possible to pair that with my PC, that fails. There is an attempt, then 'something went wrong'. I asked on their forum, but was only advised it offers limited options in respect of PCs, and is intended to pair with its remote control and gaming controllers. Try the steps listed below to cast Desktop screen:

• Make sure the Chromecast is connected to the TV and both the devices are On.
  
• Expand the Google Cast extension icon and select
  ‘Cast screen/window (experimental)’ option.
  
• When prompted to cast entire screen,
  Accept and click on ‘Share’.
  
• Open ‘Photos App’ to mirror photos on the PC.
  

You may search for an app that can cast your media to any
Google Cast device on your favorite search engine, and install it from the Store.

The other similar thread to this says 'Cast to' used to work to a Samsung TV but now it doesn't. This would imply something is 'wrong' with our Win 10?

Can anyone suggest some more troubleshooting steps to try to determine what the issue is?
