  1. I Have To Constantly Reinstall Audio Drivers

After I restart my PC, for some reason, audio often stops working. Sometimes it's everything, including my monitor's built in speakers, and other times it's just my headphones' stereo option that does not function properly. The Hands-Free AG Audio still works which is worse quality, and not stereo, but the stereo option in the output device settings accessible via the Taskbar plays no sounds. In the sound settings, it detects audio being played through the stereo option. After much troubleshooting, the only thing I have found successful in fixing both of my audio problems is running the au

    Constantly reinstalling audio driver

    Hi Jade,

This issue of constantly reinstalling the audio driver might be due to software conflicts that have occurred when you updated Windows. We recommend performing a System File Check Scan and DISM to troubleshoot your concern. The steps are found on this

Constantly reinstalling sound drivers after reboots

It's a Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi. I downloaded the drivers from the Creative website and they are dated 2015. Windows says they're the most up-to-date drivers available.

I noticed that there's a RealTek device listed in Device Manager and a couple of 'High Definition Audio Devices' listed, too, so I disabled them (see attached). Maybe that's where the problem lies. I'll have to reboot and see what happens.

    Constantly reinstalling audio driver

Hey, so after the windows 10 update about week/week and a half ago, I've had to constantly reinstall my audio driver because it'll stop working. There will be no sound whatsoever. I've had this problem before with previous updates, and usually just one
reinstallation would fix it. Now that doesn't work any more. Enhancements are already off, and I've reinstalled it probably at least 4 times. Any tips? Thanks.
