i have tried everything to connect me computer speakers since i updated my computer to windows 10 i did everything it said to update my driver for sound i had windows 8.1 and speakers worked

• Have you tried connecting to a different computer and check the functionality?
• Have you installed necessary drivers for speakers?

As an initial troubleshooting step I suggest you to try connecting to a different computer running Windows 10 check if the speakers works as it should. Also install all driver updates and check the functionality.

Sound works on computer but stopped working in speakers

It's a desktop and I tried the suggestion to connect the speakers to the front - same result, sound still came from the computer.

Edit: I installed that driver and sound is still coming from computer. I checked to make sure it's set as default.

I got it! Somehow, after installing those drivers, it transferred it from the blue plug in (to plug the speakers in) to the yellow outlet or whatever it's called (on the back of the computer). I don't know why, as it's always been blue, and I tried the yellow and pink days ago and they didn't work. Weird, but at least it's solved. Thank you ever so much.
