  1. I have Ubuntu, but now I can't go back to Windows 10

EDIT: I managed to make it work, WoeUSB was the only thing that worked for me! This was due to the fact that while I was trying other methods, my USB drive would go to legacy, while through WoeUSB it went to UEFI, so it actually worked I have Ubuntu, but now I can't go back to Windows 10 :)

Hello guys, so I was hoping I could get some extra help since this is really getting on my nerves and I feel like throwing my laptop out of the window.

Anyway, the situation that's happening is that some time ago I completely removed Windows 10 and installed Ubuntu on my SSD, while on the side I have a HDD with all my data.

Everything nice and good, but now I need to go back to windows 10 and here is where the problems start. I already managed to create a USB bootable with a windows 10 ISO, but I can't seem to make it boot!

I have my SSD as UEFI, and my USB and HDD as Legacy, so in boot menu I switch to Legacy First, select my Toshiba External Drive with the boot files, and it goes in 2 different ways:

    I either get a "There's no operative system... etc etc CTRL + ALT + DEL to restart";

    OR

Intermittent "_" on a black screen that doesn't load any boot and just literally stays like that.

So I just go back, select UEFI again and start Linux and keep trying different solutions, and I don't know why is it so hard to boot a simple USB drive.

P.S: Since "install.wim" file is over 4GB, I used the drive as NTFS, and I also tried exFAT; and still, no success.

P.S 2: I tried using the Terminal, the Startup Disk Creator and manually formatting the USB drive to make a bootable.

Please, does anyone know a fix? I really need to go back to Windows ASAP.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Networking issue - Windows and Ubuntu

Went on a short trip, took my Windows 10 laptop, turned off the Ubuntu computer and my wife's Windows 10 computer. When I returned, I turned everything back on and nether Windows computer could see the Ubuntu 16.04 LTS computer. On the Ubuntu computer, Files/Network clicking on Windows Network received "Unable to access location - Failed to retrieve share list from server: No such file or directory" error. Both Windows computers were able to use the Ubuntu before the trip.

    Any suggestions?
