Windows 10: I have used the Windows "Photo" tool extensively for editing...now it has changed

Apparently, just after a week of a Windows Update, my "Photo" editing tool that I used for trimming videos for the internet has changed, and not necessarily all positive. For instance it is now much harder if not impossible to get precise points on a timeline down to the second to add a trim point. Also the quality of the video is not as good as it once was as a finished product. The main positive now is that it utilizes more GPU power to make for quicker videos.Is this from a recent Windows Update or is it because I updated my GPU driver?Can I roll back to a previous Photo version?Thank yo

How to change File type on Windows 10 - File Extension Change

Windows 10

my jpegs. open with paint. Is that normal? It was a photo and opened in paint.

I want to see the page of all the file extensions to see what they are opening.

Somehow my friend has changed her DIP program to opening with pngs and thy won't open at all. she needs to change them back to what they were. I have looked online anf found nothing that helps...too complicated.

Could I please get a step by step 1, 2, 3 etc list to help her change her program extension to the right one.

How do I get the edited photos from 10 Photos app to change on the hard drive?

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check the behavior:

• Go to the folder in hard drive.
• Right click on the photo you want to edit.
• Click on Open with and select
  photos (To open that particular photo in Windows 10 photos app).
• Make some changes in the photo and click on
  save.
• Now go back to the folder and check the if you see the changes you made.
