I have what seems like an old problem with Outlook asking - It looks like we don't have...

    hello

Please update your credentials for the account xxxxx@xxxx**** - why should I?

I have had numerous chats on live chat which is now hard to find again on why 'we ' should have permission in the first place and how one updates if one wants to. I had deleted this account but I still get asked to update credentials

    Why?

It was a mistake to enter the address in the first pace as I only have app on my laptop and going to Outlook.com is a pain to see if emails to this address had arrived.

Please advise how I can stop the message coming up everyday even if I do hit 'Dismiss'?

    Thank you

    :)

  2. welcome screen is not asking if i like the spotlight choice

    Hi,

One of the possible reasons why your laptop is not asking if you like the spotlight choice might be because the Windows spotlight is not set as your lock screen background. To address this concern, we suggest enabling Windows spotlight as your lock screen
background. To do so, follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings.
    • Click on Personalization and then select Lock screen.
    • Under Background, click on the drop down menu and make sure to click on Windows spotlight.

If further assistance is needed, don't hesitate to reply on this thread.

How to install outlook express on windows xp with explorer 8?

This is an awkward problem to solve and one I don't think is worth the time and effort.

The OP would be better off either using a modern webmail service like gmail or outlook.com or using a modern email client like Windows Live Mail like FX-GMC suggested or Thunderbird from Mozilla. If nothing else, Outlook Distress was notorious for corrupting its data files and losing all your email in one easy step. Not worth it.

    Window 10 I DON"T LIKE YOU....

I feel your frustration. Every time I want to print something it immediately goes into my document folder, then I have to go looking for it. If its a copy of a bank check it won't let the whole thing print. I'll be if I'm going to call AT&T connect tech and
ask them to fix the problem which would also give them access to my banking account information. Feeling trapped. Have you run into a similar problem? Anyone know how to correct this problem?
