I have windows 11 and my HP deskjet 3772 messaging says there are print jobs. My printer doesn't show up. I have tried multiple times? My printer stopped printing about a week ago. I am a senior and not tech savy HELP. And reading instructions is not helpful due to binging dyslexic. I need a person to walk me through ASAP Thanks.

HP DeskJet 2630 Printer wont print saying missing driver.

We appreciate your effort on this. We understand that when you try to print using your HP printer you get a message stating driver is missing, we will look into this for you.



Ideally, when you connect a printer to the computer, you will need to install the driver to start using the printer. As you are facing issues while installing the drivers, I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:



Method 1:



I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned in the article
Fix printer connection and printing problems in Windows 10 and check if that helps in resolving the issue.



Method 2: Running HP Print and Scan Doctor



As you have already downloaded the HP Print and Scan Doctor, I suggest you to run it and follow the on-screen instructions. The HP Print and Scan Doctor will analyze and resolve the issues.

Windows print problem. Every Time! Printer prints job, but on PC it still says "Printing" and no additional job will print.

This happens EVERY time.

It happens on two different printers on two different networks (at home and at work)....so it is a WINDOWS problem, not a PRINTER problem.

Send a job to the printer.

It completes and prints JUST FINE. All is well.

THEN==>>

In the printer window for that printer, it continues to say "Printing" (forever!) even tho the job has successfully completed. If i highlight the job and "Delete" it, it says "Deleting"....forever. No other print job sent will print, as they are all blocked
behind the job that has already successfully printed, and that cannot be manually deleted, either.

So, EVERY TIME the queue must be manually cleared out. The only way i can print another job is a 3-step process

• Go to Services, Stop print queue.
• Go to PRINTERS folder, delete all files.
• Go back to Services, and START print queue.

After those three steps, I can print again...exactly one print job...then it happens the same again for that job. Obviously this is a complete hassle.

I would like specific and definitive instructions not on how to now get WINDOWS to work "normally"...so that when a print job successfully prints and is done, the queue for that printer shows as empty, and so more print jobs can be sent.

If this were a very intermittent occasional problem it might be tolerable. But it happens EVERY TIME with EVERY PRINTER.

Windows 10 Pro 22H2 and hp deskjet 3700 series - issues with printing

Okay so. I have a few guys in the field that use laptops and the portability of the hp Deskjet 3700 series is working well for them. The issue we have is that we found out on a few that the Deskjet is printing the Excel document smaller than desired. It adds extra space around the border and prints the entire page, (fit to one sheet) but it's small print. Here's what I've done so far:

• Printed from a couple of different Desktop computers on the same "portable" printer. I plug in the USB connector, and Win10 finds the printer and identifies it correctly (evidently installs a basic Windows/hp driver) and it prints perfectly.
• I have plugged the printer into 3 different laptops and tried it. They acted the same as the Desktops, identifying the correct printer, etc., but when I print the documents, they get stuck in the print queue. HP suggested that I use "HP Smart" to install the "proper driver". After installing the 'correct' printer driver using HP Smart, When I print, the document winds up being like 90% of the proper size... larger borders mean smaller fonts, and bordering on illegibility. The borders on the documents themselves are set to Custom at 0,0,0,0; and 'fit sheet on one page.' This layout works fine on most computers.

These documents are for printing tickets in the field for our customers, and we'd like them to look the same. I have been chasing this issue now for 3 days, trying various things, updating Windows, resetting back to Windows 10, rebuilding users, etc. So, I basically have laptops that when I use the Windows-supplied drivers, documents are stuck in the queue. (yes I've tried stopping the spooler, deleting the jobs, restarting the spooler, restarting the print job and it keeps getting stuck like the spooler doesn't know what to do next... says printing but remains in that state literally for as long as you wait. When I use the hp-Smart app to install the "correct" drivers, it's almost like there are drivers "in series" that are adding default margins that add up to a large margin. Next step for me is to download the 'HP Print and Scan Doctor' but having used it before, I don't hold much hope. Any additional ideas would be welcome... maybe even how to bypass the print spooler and use the Windows-supplied driver by itself, without getting stuck in the queue
