Windows 10: I have windows 8.1 oem installed, I want to install windows 10 dual booting,

Discus and support I have windows 8.1 oem installed, I want to install windows 10 dual booting, in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I see everyone saying to partition your drive that your windows is installed too in order to make another partition to install the other dual boot...     I have windows 8.1 oem installed, I want to install windows 10 dual booting,


    I see everyone saying to partition your drive that your windows is installed too in order to make another partition to install the other dual boot system. Do I need to partition the drive that my 8.1 resides on? If I have multiple drives in the system already can windows 10 just be installed on a different drive than the one 8.1 is on? Does the drive need to bebasic or simple or does not matter?
