Windows 10: I have windows xp and 7 dual boot and I want to upgrade 7 to 10

How can I do xp is installed on c drive and windows 7 is installed on f drive.I have installed media creation tool on windows 7 Should use upgrade this pc now or should I do custom install on f drive

Upgrade to Windows 10 with a Dual boot Windows 7/Windows XP

My current set-up is a dual boot with Windows 7 and Windows XP. This is because I use Windows XP to run some specific programs.

When I boot up the computer, it gets to the point where it asks which operating system to use:

• Windows 7
• Windows XP

If I upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10, will I still be able to start Windows 10 by clicking in the old Windows 7 link?

Windows 7 and Windows XP in dual boot loses Windows 7

I have a machine which will dual boot into Windows 7 or Windows XP - this was working fine.

However, the system board recently failed and I had to replace it - and now I find that although the dual boot menu still appears and it will boot into Windows XP ok from there, it won't boot into Windows 7.

All I get is the "Windows 7 is starting..." message. which looks promising; but it then displays a black screen with the only sign of life being the mouse pointer - which is active, but I can't get the machine to do anything further.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

 

XP and 7 to XP and 10 upgrade?

I have a PC that currently is set to dual boot XP and Windows 7.

Drive 1 has XP pro-32 bit

Drive 2 has Win 7 Ultimate-64 bit

Can I upgrade the WIn 7 to Windows 10? Or will it break the dual boot?

I need XP for some legacy hardware and a few software pieces.
