Windows 10: I havent tried to sign in to my laptop but it says ive put the weong pin

I havent logged on to my laptop with windows 11 in a few days and now on every startup it will say ive put the wrong pin too many times even though i havent put it in once, ive waited the two hours and bothing happened

Remove sign in pin

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.

Forgot PIN, wont let me use password, wont let me reset PIN, doesnt let me sign in with other users, PIN has fully locked me out and says to sign in via admin

I've forgotten the PIN to my laptop, when I click the 'i forgot my pin' button it loads for a second then does nothing, theres no option to sign in with password, there no option to sign in with a different account, when i type in a random PIN it says to sign in with an administrator account to unlock the system, there is only 1 user account on the system, i don't need anything on the laptop as ive been backing up to a external HD for a while now. any suggestions?

• Which build and version of Windows 10 are you using before reinstalling Windows?
• Have you tried resetting your PIN?
• Did you get any error messages after you verified the PIN you entered?
