Windows 10: i hear myself in my mike and it isnt an echo

I can hear myself through my mike and i have read a couple of posts where you turn off the listen to your own mike, this doesnt work in fact i hear myself twice with it on and i dont know how to fix it. i dont know why its doing this, im not using a headphone jack its wireless the pulse 3d. i have tried disableing my mike in recordings doesnt work. my mike will even stay on while my computer is restarting but after it turns off it does too. i dont know what to do

I suggest you to go through the below methods and check if it helps.

Step 1:

I suggest you enable settings in the Playback Devices and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the speaker icon on your taskbar.
• Select Playback Devices.
• Click on the Playback Devices and right click on the
  Speakers/Headphones.
• Check mark on the Show Disabled Devices and
  Show Disconnected Devices.

If the issue persists the follow the below step.

Step 2:

Phone link has an echo?

thanks for the suggestion. I installed Krisp, but it did not help. The person I called can still hear an echo of their voice on their cell phone (they are not near a computer speaker).

Nokia N8 echo ?

I was just trying to talk to my partner who recently bought the N8. It is on an Optus Australia contract.



I could not hear her properly, because of the echoes (of my voice), crackling and the silences/pauses, so I called her back on the office land line.



Amazingly this was exactly the same - echoes, crackling and silences (albeit louder).



However, when she moved from her lounge into the kitchen, she went from one bar to full bars and the sound was much better.



Perhaps there is something going on in the N8 to try to improve the call quality when there is only one bar? Maybe it ups the transmission power and that affects the call quality?



Anyway, the summary is:
