    I Hear Phone Ringing in Windows 10


    I have seen this question asked many many times on many many different forums. But I have seen NO answers.

    My computer occasionally I say occasionally, but it is more like once or twice a day, which I consider far too often rings like a telephone. Nothing else is going on. I may just be reading news, or working, or looking at my feeds, and it just starts ringing. I have opened task manager while it is ringing and there is nothing going on there that is not normal. There are no notifications. My computer is NOT connected to either of my cell phones. There is NO reason for it to just ring. Sometimes it rings 4 or 5 times, sometimes it rings 10 or 12 times.

    I really want this to stop.


    Can anyone help me?

    Cannot hear Ring Tones 3110C

    Thanks jimmyireland. I followed your three suggestions.



    • freed up memory
    • carried out the factory reset
    • ugraded software.
    I still cannot hear the loudspeaker. I tried



    • playing a media file
    • calling the phone and selected loudspeaker


    Still nothing. If it was not for hearing the keypad tones I would say the speaker was broken.



    Were your suggestions a standard response to faults or have you heard of my speaker problem before?

    I Hear Phone Ringing in Windows 10

    Help! Can't hear phone ringing.

    I think my phone (a nokia E63) thinks I either have a headset or headphones plugged in because it no longer rings so I can hear it. I also can no longer hear the nokia music when I turn it on. (It did this morning) I tested the headphones theory by I plugging
    headphones in and when I do I can hear it ring, but if I take them out the phone doesn't start ringing so I can hear it.



    This is the 2nd time this has happened since I've owned the phone (about 2 weeks). Last time turning it off and on seemed to solve the problem, but not this time.



    I'm sure I've just set something wrong but what? How to I get it ringing again?
