Windows 10: I horked my computer with the 1/10/2024 Update

I've been trying all the different fixes to get today's windows 10 update to work. I've been at it for 5 hours now and decided to abort. So I ran a windows update diagnostic for the third time today and when I went to shut it down I got the message "Getting Windows Ready. Don't Turn off Computer." message. I let that sit for about 15 minutes and shut of the computer. It turned it back on and get the same message. I turned it off and on again several times and always get the message.So I'll simply reinstall Windows 10 from my USB media. So I turned off the computer. When I turned it back on it

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
