    I imported my contacts and it's added anniversary 1st of January


    I imported my contacts and it's added anniversary 1st of January to them all I right clicked the VCF and selected open with people and then choose my email address to put them in. As when I was trying to do it with Outlook 2010 it said contacts were empty. Will I get a reminder on the 1st of January about them all as it's went on to my calendar as well!!!

    Contact information and birthday years prior to 1941 - HTC HD2 phone

    Just received the following from HTC Tech Support:

    Dear Robert, We understand the importance of having all the information on our phones. The T-Mobile HD2 does have the option to choose a birthday and anniversary starting from the date January 1, 1900. Since the HTC Contact information is limited to
    the start date of January 1, 1941, you will have to press More on the bottom of the HTC Contact information to access the Windows Contact information to be able to place a start date that starts between the days of January 1, 1900 and January 1, 1941. Thank
    you for contacting HTC.

    I can do as HTC tech supoprt states. My concern is why? Is there some technical hurdle that their engineers could not overcome and they settled for a limited start date of 1941?

    Mike, any news from the people you pinged at HTC?

    Lumia does not talk with E90 or Nokia Suite

    It was surprising to find that I couldnt use the 'contact transfer' function on my Lumia with my E71.



    I got around it as I've used Ovi to sync my contacts on my E71.



    You can download the contacts from
    https://exportcontacts.ovi.com/     as a .csv file and import them into a hotmail/live account (on hotmail/live click on
    contacts, then click Manage and select
    Import    ). Sync that account and all your contacts are on your phone, including the extra custom info i added for some contacts.



    Be warned that online access to contacts ends on the 24th of January.
