    I install the Sony plug-in, but DVL file still won't play


    I have a DVL file of historical interest to my family that I need to play. It appears to have been created on a Sony device as a search turns up the Sony plug-in. I did install that, but it still won't play the file. Can the file be successfully converted to a compatible extension?

    My plug and play is still on running after 2.5 Hours

    Hi Declan,

    Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

    I would suggest you to stop the plug and play service and again start the service and check the status of this issue. Follow the steps below to stop the Plug and Play service.


    • Press Windows Key + R key

    • Type “Services.msc” and press Enter

    • Right click on Plug and Play and click on stop

    • Again start the service.

    microsoft store games won`t play

    when I download a game from the Microsoft store it won`t play

    the splash screen appears then goes

    I have a core i5 with an nvidivia graphics card I tb hdd and 8 gb ram

    I have tried the diagnostic for microsoft store and it say cache may need fixing.
