Windows 10: I install windows 8 without knowing a product key

I installed windows 8 without knowing a product key, i dont know how to fix this. And if i cancelled it my drive was locked. I want to get back i dont know how. I try to system restore or repair your pc but it didn't work And ill try to find product key using cmd in troubleshoot but its not working. Please help me guys. Im sorry If im not good in english. Thqnk you guys

I don't think that tool asks for a key if you are running the version of Windows you are trying to download the ISO for.

 

Windows Product Key

A friend of mine has an all-in-one that came with Windows 8 pre-installed. He erased the original OS thinking he could install another version of Windows 8. One thing he encountered, that he didn't expect, the BIOS/UEFI has a password. So, basically he is locked out from installing another OS. His BIOS has the product key nestled inside. Is it possible to find out which version the product key belong to?

There is still a way to search for your product key. Kindly follow the steps below for you to know your product key:

• Press Windows key + X
• Click Command Prompt (admin)
• Enter the following command: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
• Then hit Enter

The product key will be revealed, copy the product key then enter it.
