Windows 10: I installed a RAM earlier in my laptop it wasn't incompatible but I'm getting various bsod...

I installed a RAM on my MSI thin gf63 laptop to increase its performance it was compatible too ddr4 2666 Mhz and 8GB of RAM but after working fine for sometime I'm getting a lot of bsod help me please. Mostly the error shown is System thread exception not handled

Dell M6400 Laptop - BSOD Installing XP Pro X32

Win 7 works fine, I'm typing on it right now. Wondering if I should actually jump and upgrade. There must be a driver somewhere that I can use to install XP *Wtf :wtf:

Not a particularly productive suggestion. Though I'd never buy a Dell, I have had luck with thier laptops errm... excepting this time, lol.

 

BSOD when use 2 stick of RAM

Please run two tests of 4 passes each.
Testing can be performed overnight.

See the earlier post:
The RAM was not seen on the Asrock Qualified Vendor List.
When was the RAM installed?
Memtest does not test for RAM incompatibility.
Memtest can display pass for normal RAM that is incompatible with the motherboard.
See if you can find RAM available to swap for testing purposes.

What are the approximate dates for installation of each RAM module?

The modules are mismatched.

None of the RAM modules are on the Qualified Vendor List (QVL).

There is no test for incompatible RAM.

The best step is to swap or replace RAM with modules that are displayed on the motherboards QVL.
