Windows 10: I installed iTunes on my computer and it will not open. How do I get the app to open?

I need help with trying to get the iTunes app to open on my computer.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to stop iTunes to open automatically:

• 
  Open Task Manager.
  
• 
  Select the Startup Tab.
  
• 
  Right click any app in the Startup menu and select Disable.
  

If this does not fix the issue, then this needs to be taken care during installation of iTunes, so you may uninstall iTunes and reinstall it and make sure you check for the startup option during the setup wizard of iTunes.

Thank you for updating me that information. How many users do you have on your computer? Please try to uninstall all apple and iTunes related programs. Restart your computer. Open Microsoft Store then Download and install iTunes app.

Open Microsoft Store

Click the 3 dots then select Download and Updates

On the installed tab, Make sure iTunes is not present

Please check also in Settings > Apps and Features

iTunes is not listed.

Restart your computer

Open Microsoft Store then Download and install iTunes app.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
