Hey Microsoft community. I had installed Minecraft Windows 10 Edition and my game became weird, It would open and load but when I joined a world it would crashed kinda like corrupted? And deleted it. I deleted from settings to be exact, and I have tried reinstalling the game from the Windows store. The store says the game is installed,also does Xbox its self when I go to https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/minecraft-for-windows/9nblggh2jhxj?rtc=1 it says install to but I click that it says launch I click launch but nothing happens and I also cannot find Minecraft W10 with Cortana, or t

Minecraft Windows 10 Edition stuck in Beta (1.15)

I launched Minecraft and it was in 1.16.1. At this time, the 1.16.2 was released but mine hadn't updated. I uninstalled and re-installed but when I launched, it was in the 1.15 Beta edition. There is 1 user on this PC.

Have tried:

• Deleting the Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder in Appdata/Local/Packages
• Resetting the program data in the Apps&Features page in settings
• Restarted PC

Things to note:

• I have been part of the Insider Beta testing
• I have the Minecraft Starter collection
• The game installs significantly faster than expected which suggests that the files are locally stored on the PC and aren't being uninstalled properly
