Yes, I do think that is my problem, but I couldn't find a way to remedy it. Sorry for the screenshot being in Hungarian, if you need I can translate it. And don't mind the 500 MB partition, I tried to do a fix from a similar thread which suggested creating it, but later steps didn't prove successful.

 

Will installing a new SSD on a BSOD crippled laptop fix it

Laptops has a critical cooling system and along the years heat sink can get clogged with dust, get overheat and begin to have BSOD and / or shutdowns.

Do you have a hardware monitor?
I suggest you install Open Hardware Monitor
It's a portable, don't need to be installed, just extract and run. I extracted to C:\Program Files (x86)\HardwareMonitor.
Under options select run on Windows startup, Start minimized etc.
It will show current, min and Max CPU temperatures. If it rises above 80ºC you have a cooling problem that must be fixed.

Rem.: Laptops normally don't have a fan speed sensor.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
