Windows 10: I installed the amd radeon graphic drivers and it causes my computer to stutter every few...

I couldn't go on my amd radeon graphic settings so I installed the latest drivers and stuff and suddenly it started stuttering so I searched around and uninstalled my display adapter and it stopped stuttering but when It reinstalled itself it started again

AMD Radeon R4 Graphics driver causing micro freezing

I do have Support Assist and I use it quite a bit to make sure my drivers are up to date - that's how I know that the chipset and BIOS firmware drivers are all up to date. When the micro stuttering first happened, in fact, not only did I use Support Assist,
but I also manually checked every single driver to make sure it was updated.

As for rolling back the driver, I'm not sure what you mean. If I follow your instructions and I go to "Let me pick" the only two drivers in the list are the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and the AMD Radeon r4. If I uncheck "Show Compatible Hardware" then
a whole list of AMD Radeon drivers appear (R3, R5, R7, etc.). But none of these seem to be earlier versions of my current driver. If I click on any of them, I get a dialog message that warns me that this driver may not be compatible and may make my computer
unstable or maybe stop working altogether.

Am I doing something wrong here?

After recent update in Windows 10 AMD Radeon graphics driver is causing BSOD errors.

Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

• What is the exact error message you are getting?
• Did you try starting the PC in Safe mode and check if similar issue persists?

You may be facing the above issue due to the incompatible graphics driver installed on Windows 10 operating system.



Method 1: I suggest you to Login into safe mode and check if the issue persists.



Step 1: Logging into Safe mode.



Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that starts your computer with limited drivers necessary to run Windows. The words
Safe Mode appear at the corners of your monitor to identify which Windows mode you are using.



Expand the options to boot into Safe Mode:

Restart the PC to exit from Safe mode and start the computer in normal mode.

Step 2: If you are able to login into your PC without getting any error messages or BSOD errors, I suggest you to remove the AMD Radeon graphics card driver from the
Device manager manually by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.



a. Press
Windows logo+ X keys on the keyboard and select Device Manager from the options.

b. Expand
Display adapters, locate AMD radeon graphic card driver
in the window.

c. Right click on the graphics card driver and select
Uninstall option.

d. Restart the computer to reinstall the driver automatically and check if the changes is effective.



Method 2: If the issue persists, I suggest you to download and install the latest and compatible graphics card driver from the link below and check if the issue is resolved.
