Windows 10: I just bought a brand new HP laptop from a reputable dealer but I can't get past the first...

I've just brought home a new HP laptop. But when I start up for the first time, defaultuser0 appears as the username with no option to change it with a password box for that user. I have no idea what password to enter & I can't change the username. It requires entering the correct password to proceed you can't just hit enter.I have a HP account from a previous device, but that doesn't help me log in under defaultuser0. And I can't change the account or username from the default. I don't have access to any text entry apart from the in the password box. Clicking the Start Windows butto

window 10 is very very slow on my brand new HP pavilion laptop.

My brand new HP pavilion laptop that i bought recently is extrmely slow from the beginning...... please help me and suggest me a solution for this. i will be very thankful to Microsoft. Should i degrade the window to 8.1 or what? it is very slow at startup
and when i open anything like chrome or anything in my pc it starts lagging all the time....please help me ASAP.

I haven't seen laptop from Xiaomi.. are they good? Which model?

I liked hp pavilion 360x series..suggest similar in other good brands..

I don't know why everyone hates hp so much? I have used 3 laptops from hp in last 10 yrs..latest is hp envy 17 3d , 4.5 yrs till now, first time encountered hardware problem now, that got fixed too with routine service...might need to replace fan later. But no major issue till now.. working like new even now

I'm taking the laptop back to where I bought it first to see if they can fix it, but my next step will be to contact Dell. I bought the laptop from a reputable seller so I don't know if it would be Linux or FreeDOS on here.
