Windows 10: I just bought a dell g15 with 8gb ram and 3050 4gb graphics. I did everything with msconfig...

I have disabled all application in msconfig while hiding the required microsoft ones. Then i went ahead and disabled every startup app and then i removed mc afree useless but still my ram usage stands at 45/49% i.e. 3.7/3.9 gb ~ FYI: Before it was 60%. Help me remove the excess ram sucking applications or whatever . I want to make he ram usage go down to 30% as a normal pc. Here are my system taskbar images for reference.

Windows shows 8GB RAM installed but 4GB RAM is usable

I've just upgraded my pc from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM. Windows seems to have detected this upgrade but why does it show as only 4GB RAM available. The following is what I have tried so far with no luck:

• I have tried the msconfig method on ensuring maximum memory is not checked.
• physically removed the new RAM and reinstalled it

Any thoughts/suggestions on how i can resolve this matter?

Compare performance between 12gb ram (8gb + 4gb) and 8gb ram (4gb x 2)

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The more RAM you have the bester your PC will perform, so, 12GB of RAM will be better than 8GB of RAM, so 4GB + 8GB will be better than 4GB + 4GB for performance.

 

Please make windows 11 run smoothly on 4gb ram and 96gb hdd

We don't work for MS. We're normal users like you.

I'd suggest two options:

• Uninstall unnecessary RAM-eating apps which you don't use.
  
• Increase the memory to at least 8GB by adding a RAM stick of 4GB but which is compatible with your device.
  

4GB is the minimum req., so you may need high amount of RAM.
