Microsoft Lifecam HD3000

I installed a Microsoft Lifecam HD3000 in a virtual desktop (Vmware Horizon) windows 7.

Virtual desktop recognizes the usb camera, windows says device is working properly but camera software does not recognize camera and software like skype does show camera image although microphone does work.

If I try installing in physical PC the camera works fine.

Already disables Non-Microsoft services, but the picture still does not show.

Any suggestions?

Microsoft Lifecam HD3000

There have been issues since 2018 in Windows 10 it would seem. If you've tried the info in this link already then perhaps it's just not compatible with the latest versions of Windows 10.

My MS LifeCam is guaranteed to work with MS Skype

It DOES NOT!

When I downloaded the software it starts to install stops & Gives this error;
"installation ran into a problem" PERIOD

Uninstalled the software, retried, same thing.

It list all the Win versions EXCEPT Win 10! Is that the reason?
