I just bought a ps5 controller I don’t think my pc has Bluetooth and when I try to connect it though wire nothing pops up it happens

PS5 Controller won't connect to PC through Bluetooth or wired connection

I bought a PS5 on launch day, and have been using the controller both on the PS5 and my computer since then, and it has worked perfectly wired until recently, when the port got loose and the connection was no longer stable. This wasn't a major issue, I just switched it to Bluetooth and kept going, however, I changed the connection from my PC to my PS5 for the first time since switching to Bluetooth, and when I tried to change it back I started having issues.

In windows settings, it lists my controller as 'paired,' however I cannot fully connect the controller to play games, and when I try removing it it gives the message "remove failed." I have tried removing it while I have it plugged in, and have gone into device management, but it is not listed there. When I try to set my PS5 controller and PC to Bluetooth discovery, my PC does not pick up my controller as something it can reconnect to.

My PC doesn't have native Bluetooth, so I use a dongle from the company Insignia with model number 'BCM20702A0' which has also worked before this, but is now giving me a 'driver is unavailable' message, despite installing the proper driver for it and using it for months. When I use the driver update process, either automatic or manual, my computer gives me the message that the best drivers are already installed. I have also used devmgmt to disconnect and reconnect this as well.

I have been unable to play any of my normal controller games on PC for over two weeks now, and have tried anything I could find online, any advice would be extremely appreciated.

 

PS5 controller problem with PC

I have a special problem with my PS5 controller. I used to play games with it, the PC recognized it and worked perfectly fine. One day it does not light up, the system does not recognize, the system thinks there is no controller connected, but there is. If I connect the PS5 controller to my laptop, it works without any problem. I've read a previous question with this problem, I also tried everything but I find something out. One of my USB port is not working. I tried to connect any working external device, but the port is not working. Can one wrong port cause this issue, where anything is working well in other ports except the PS5 controller?

Problem with my PS5 controller on PC

Here is my problem, I often play with my PS5 controller on my pc and everything works fine I use DS4Windows. But unfortunately since a few days my controller does not connect to my PC when I plug in my controller nothing happens it does not light up in yellow to load and in the device manager there is nothing as if I had not plugged anything in. I think this is coming from the PC because I plugged the controller into my laptop and the controller loaded and it worked perfectly so I would like some help on how to fix this problem.

Just in case: I don't connect my controller in Bluetooth because my PC is not equipped with Bluetooth.
