Windows 10: I just built a new pc and I keep getting this error code: 0xc0000098. How do I fix it?

The the 0xc0000098 error can appear due to a corrupted BCD (Boot Configuration Data) file. This can be due to a change in the hardware. There is also a possibility that Windows files or the hard drive was damaged on some cases. In this case, we suggest to boot
from windows 10 installation disc and kindly follow the steps provided by

Hello,

I upgraded to Windows 10 recently and I am getting the "blue screen" fatal system error:

File:\ BCD

Error Code: 0xc0000098

It began with the startup error 0xc000000d, and I was able to download the recovery image to fix the startup error. Now it's a new one (see above), and I don't have any idea how to fix it.

Please advise. Thanks!
