Windows 10: I just need to know if there is a possible solution

    I just need to know if there is a possible solution


    Im posting this out of pure desperation and anxiety

    Long story short, I took some advice seen on StackOverflow to change my disk folder security settings to “everyone” in order to ve able to download and import some libraries in python, and after that some apps like Microsoft Edge, Calculator and Mail stopped working. Even my start button in the desktop stopped working.

    I tried some quick fixes from youtube, restoring my laptop without deleting my files, restoring the laptop and doing a factory reset but the permissions remain assigned to “everyone”. I am now 100% sure this caused the apps to not work properly.

    I accepted defeat and will take the laptop to technical support tomorrow. But I am afraid i have done something irreversible.

    If anyone in this sub knows a similar case that was effectively solved please let me know. Thanks in advance

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    windows 10 startup menu not opening all possible solution failed

    I have windows 10 on my HP laptop, after the recent update Oct 28th the new windows 10 startup menu, Microsoft edge, Notification windows, etc does not open and the system has become very slow. I have tried all possible solution options listed on the
    websites but failed. pl suggest a solution

    Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

    Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
