I just purchased a new Lenovo desktop s/n mp2Dllqv and the mouse or keyboard does not connect at all and the screen won't let me touch it

Lenovo 700 Desktop running Windows 10 doesn't detect Microsoft Comfort 5050 Keyboard

Have a relatively new Lenovo 700 Desktop that has had no problems. Purchased a Microsoft 5050 wireless keyboard and mouse. System will not detect it even though I have installed the Keyboard and Mouse Control Panel. Detects a Logictech wireless mouse just
fine. Tried switching my bluetooth driver to generic Microsoft -- No difference.
