I bought paralles for my imac in order to runWindows 10

After some research, this seems like an issue with paralles or the hardware on your machine. If FSX or whatever version of flight simulator you have, runs on an actual windows machine fine, then it is the fault of the paralles program. Any windows 10 PC would
be able to run that disc fine.

Have you tried any workarounds like loading the disc files onto a USB, installing directx10 on paralles.

I also highly suggest you use bootcamp to install Windows 10 on a mac, not a VM. You most likely will get very very poor performance on a VM environment.

You also may look into upping the RAM and disk space available on your VM.

diskpart doesn't show disk

Hey,

I am trying to install Win10 on a mac book air.

However the diskpart does not list the disk even after reformatting the partition as NTFS per suggestion.

read through this solution but cannot move to step 1 listed in the solution by Ivan as that disk doesn't see that partition it was just able to reformat.
