Windows 10: I just started looking into Windows 11/Secure boot issue

I just started looking into windows 11. My PC meets all the requirements. The motherboard has a qualified processor, TPM is set and Secure boot is enable. I ran the Windows 11 assistant PC Health Checker and it says that the secure boot is the issue. My mother board is all set, but the software says not ready. How do I fix this. I know a clean install is better than an upgrade but if the PC Health Checker and the System say that Secure boot is not enabled clean install wont work. Help is needed.

Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.

So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?

 

Windows Start issue

Try this:

Right click on your start menu, and click on System:





When the system window comes up, click on Advanced System Settings:




There, click on Startup and Recovery:




Then in the top menu you will have a choice of OSs. Select the one you want to boot to defaultly and uncheck the box for "Time to display list of operating systems."




That should make it boot into Windows 10 without your intervention.
