Windows 10: I just update to 21292 Windows 10 and my networking stopped working

I am on the DEV channel of the Windows insider. Build 21292 rs prerelease 210108-1514 and my networking is broken since the update.

I have an Aspitre A715-71G

My system type is 64 bit

I cannot obtain an IP address. Currently assigned IP is 169.254.26.92

Network Diagnostics hangs and does not yield results. In addition, the search glass on the taskbar will not launch, so I had to launch cmd prompt from the app list.

pinging default gateway yields General failure message ping transmission failed

ipconfig /renew/ release: no operation can be performed on [adapter] while it has its media disconnected

Device Manager lists properly working Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A wireless adapter

Link to the wireless router seems to be established

ping localhost works.

I only have local remediation options. Should I roll back this build to previous? I read in the release notes that this was already reported on 32-bit systems. I started noticing networking issues since the last feature update

Thank you for trying to help , i did tried your suggestion but it did not work :/ , nothing seems to make it work on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709. In the meantime i have bought a new SoundBlasterX AE-5 and it did installed flawlessly , no problems whatsoever. it is up to Creative ( drivers ) and Microsoft ( bug fix ) to fix this huge bugs with Audio.

Windows 10 Tweaks

That doesn't stop windows update from grabbing them on next run, at least it didn't back in the RTM days. It simply stops a secondary process from installing them immediately.

 

Windows 10 update doesn't work

I have tried to find on google an answer to this error (0x80070006) on windows update. But nothing is working for me *Frown .
I have tried following
Windows 10 update troubleshooter all ok.
net stop wuauserv
net stop bits
Then I deleted the files in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution
net start wuauserv
net start bits
I have scanned integrity of the operating system and no faults found.
Help.....
