    I keep crashing when playing games Windows 10 Update KB5007289


    My PC just shuts off when playing games, it seems that if playing a high demand game for too long it causes my PC to crash. First it goes black screen, then I see that it's restarting but it stays black screen. Then I have to turn it off via hard shut off and then it works again. Using Driver Verifier, made me get blue screens, I will put my dump files in the link below, I really need some help, I'm having this problem since 2 weeks now.Update: I solved it. I did a bunch of stuff, don't really 100% know what exactly solved my problem. But here is what I did: I unplugged my usb cables for both

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    KB5007289 No audio after update

    Hi,

    After installing update "November 19, 2021-KB5007289 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10"

    I had no audio device installed. I did the following:

    a) Run the audio troubleshooter. Result: no audio device detected.

    b) Opened the Device Manager. The audio device has completely disappeared.

    c) Uninstalled KB5007289 update. Result: audio is working again.

    Details:

    Audio driver: Realtek(R) Audio 6.0.9244.1

    Default audio software: Realtek Audio Console

    I uninstalled and re-installed the game. The freezing is still happening.
