Windows 10: I keep disabling my touchscreen but it keeps reenabling itself whenever it goes to...

I don't like touchscreen. I got this laptop because I liked everything about it except the touchscreen but I thought I could just disable it like I did with my last laptop. For whatever reason, I can't keep the touchscreen off. I have tried but unistalling and just disabling the touchscreen but it keeps reenabling itself whenever it goes to sleep. How do I get rid of it for good?

Usually you can disable the touch screen feature through Device Manager. If you feel difficulty in finding it, follow the below mentioned steps and check if it helps.

• Right-click on the Start Menu
  
  and select
  Device Manager from the context menu.
• Spot and expand the section for Human Interface Devices.
• Right-click HID-compliant touch screen and choose
  Disable.

This action will disable the touchscreen for your device.

There could be a number of factors as to why you are experiencing touchscreen issue. One possible cause could be an outdated driver. I would like to know more about your concern. Kindly verify the changes made on the computer prior to the issue.

Meanwhile, you have to make sure that touchscreen is enabled. To do this, follow the steps below:

• In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, then select
  Device Manager.
  
• Expland Human Interface Devices and select HID-compliant
  touch screen.
  
• Select the Action tab at the top of the window. Select
  Enable.

If the issue persists, I suggest that you run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter. To do this, refer to the steps below:

• On the Start menu, type Troubleshoot and then hit
  Enter.
  
• Under Find and fix other problems, select Hardware and Devices. Click
  Run as administrator.
