    I’m having trouble playing certain games on my laptop. I keep encountering a blue screen with the stop code: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR during gameplay. My laptop is an ASUS TUF Gaming FX505GE i7-8750H.For instance, I can play Valorant without any issues at 120 FPS, but games like Minecraft consistently cause the blue screen to appear. Can anyone help me identify the problem? Thank you!

    Hi Abhijit,

    Stop code: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE is probably due to a compatibility issue with the driver, as most blue screen errors are. Since you encountered this error after updating Windows, most probably, you would need to update the drivers
    as well.

    We suggest that you go through the steps in this article on how to troubleshoot blue screen errors.
    On step 1, select After an update was installed.

    • Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
    • Click OK.
    • Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?
    • What actions were you performing when normally encounter the said error?
