Windows 10: I keep getting a message I have to fix my microsoft account

I keep getting a message I have to fix my Microsoft account. Everything is going wrong now from Computer to email.

"There is a problem with your Microsoft account" message

I followed the steps and am now getting a message from the "Shared Experiences" setting that "All accounts are working correctly." Thanks.

Do you get any error message? If yes, what is the exact error message?

Are you trying to convert the local account to Microsoft Account?



I would suggest you to test the issue by creating a new Microsoft Account and check if it works. To create a new user account, refer to these steps:

• In start menu search type “user” without quotes.
• Click on Add, edit, or remove other users from the list of results.
• Under Other users, click on Add someone else to this PC.
• Follow on screen instructions.

Local Account getting "You Need to Fix Your Microsoft Account for apps..."

As per the information, I suggest that you convert the local account into a Microsoft Account and then switch back to local. To do so follow the steps below

To convert the account, you can do the following:

• 
  On the Local account, click Start and then PC Settings.
  
• 
  Click Users and accounts and under Your Profile click Connect to a Microsoft account.
  
• 
  Enter the Microsoft account ID and Password and click Next.
  
• 
  Choose if you want OneDrive as your default file saving location, click Next.
  
• 
  Click Switch.
  

In order to switch back, follow these steps:

• 
  Sign in to your Microsoft account on Windows 10.
  
• 
  Click Start and then PC settings.
  
• 
  Click Users and accounts and under Your Profile click Disconnect on the right of the screen.
  
• 
  Enter your Microsoft account's password, and click on Next.
  
• 
  Type in a Username, Password, and Password Hint that you want set for your Local account and click
  Next. Click on Sign out and Finish button.
