Windows 10: i keep getting a network error when trying to download or play an online game

when ever i try to play an online game i receive a a not responding message and when i attempt to update i get a network error message. when checking the error for the game it tells me the network is down and suggest i check my drivers and network card I've tried both and they seem to be up to date. I've tried to see if windows defender fire wall is preventing it and given it full permission, and checked the file integrity of the game i don't know what else to do.

I suggest you to try installing the game in compatibility mode and check:

Follow these steps to install the game in compatibility mode.
