Microsoft Hotmail email id sign on query

1. I am having an old laptop with Windows 10 and signed in it with a Microsoft Hotmail email id
   
2. MS Office, MS Teams are also associated with this email id
   
3. Last week, I brought a new laptop also with Windows 10. Can I use the same email id mentioned above to sign in to the new laptop and set it up whilst being signed in to the old laptop as well?
   
4. I have created a new Hotmail email id to sign in to the new laptop and set it up
   
5. Personally though, I would like to continue my old Hotmail email id for signing in to the new laptop as well
   
6. Will it affect anything if I use the old Hotmail email id on both my laptops for signing in and using it for MS Office and MS Teams?
   
7. If not, please let me know the procedure for using the same email id on both laptops for signing in and setting them up
   
8. The procedure would be specifically required to sign out from the new laptop with the new email id and signing in it again with my preferred email id
   

 

Prevent the popup "Get the new Microsoft Edge"

I have Microsoft Edge and I do use it. However my default browser is Firefox. Every day when I first open Firefox I get a popup saying "Get the new Microsoft Edge". A common suggested solution is to turn off 'get tips, tricks and suggestions as you use Windows'; however, this is set to off by my company (it being a work laptop). Does anyone have another suggestion?
