Discus and support I keep getting access denied messages when i try to search web sites. I don't understand... in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I keep getting access denied when I search web sites.     I keep getting access denied when I search web sites. I try to do suggested solutions but cannot understand some suggestions, i.e. computer language.

    How to waste a day! Since I updated Windows 10 to 1809 today I have spent 4 hours or more trying to access a web site I could access prior to the update. Here is the error message and site. I understand this is only one site however I could access it yesterday
    prior to the update?

    Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/au/home" on this server.

    Today I spent an hour with my Server Internet provider Telstra - no problem detected.

    I spent 40 mins with Norton to check all my security and internet settings - no problem detected

    1 hour at least with Microsoft check and rolling back the update - still cant access the web site.

    Ring the Airline who own the web site - no issues

    Included in the above calls were checking internet and browser settings, trying 3 different browsers including Edge, Chrome, Firefox .

    Clearing histories etc etc,.,

    Understand you will say this is only one web site but hey I was trying to book a flight on this site today.

    Later I have also tried to access the site on my iPhone and Ipad same issue.....

    Greg Hi I've done it all except remove Norton. I cant understand that if I turn all Firewalls and Anti virus software off (using command prompt and via software) how this could stop me accessing just one web site. I think we are onto something though because
    when I ran the Internet troubleshooter for the one particular web address ie www.singaporeair.com I received the following message once completed.

    "Trouble Shooting Complete

    Problems found Windows Received an HTTP error message: 403 (Forbidden) from Detected www.singaporeair.com

    Contact the owner of remoter site for permission - Complete

    Windows can reach the site, but you do not have permission to access the content"

    Remembering that this whole issue is only this one site surely this gives a clue to how to sort???

    "Access Denied" message

    I get an "Access Denied" message when attempting to connect to a shopping site I use on a regular basis. Please understand that I have few tech skills or vocabulary....all of the YouTube instructions are impossible to understand. I need a step by step instruction
    that I can print and follow. Thanks!

    PS: I use Chrome...should I switch to Microsoft Edge?
