Windows 10: I keep getting error code 0x82242016 when trying to update to the latest win 10 insider...

This issue Win 10 insider preview. To be exact, Windows 10 Insider Preview 10.0.18362.1 (19H1_RELEASE) amd64 2019-03. I have tried to update about 5 times, without success, and I might add that I have followed the standard corrective procedure (stopping the update service, renaming SoftwareDistribution to .old and/or deleting the old version). Nothing seems to work! Each time, the system appears to update, calls for a restart, appears to configure the update before booting up, but then comes up with the regular startup window. There is no indication that the update has been performed, and the update shows the 0x80242016 error. Does anyone have a fix for this issue?

• Open Code: %temp%[/quote] on Explorer;
• Delete everything inside it;
• Reboot;
• Try to apply updates again;
• ...
• PROFIT?

 

The Ultimate Realtek HD Audio Driver Mod for Windows 10

Hey Dj Urko, I am trying to install the realtek driver and I get the error 0x0001. I have disabled secure boot and Driver signature. I have the latest win 10 build. What am I doing wrong? Can u post the complete list of steps that I have to take? I have an asus z170 with alc1150.

I've had the same problem 6 times. It surprises me that Microsoft hasn't corrected the problem, which has been going on for several days. Perhaps they don't realized that they've got problems right there in river city!
