Windows 10: I keep getting the message; "You're over your Microsoft storage limit"

You’re over your Microsoft storage limit When I open my Onedrive that it references, I show that I am only using 11% of my 5 GB amount. I have checked each time that I get this email and my recycle bin is empty. I have turned off all of my backup settings to save to Onedrive. That way I can't run into that type of situation. How can I eliminate getting any more of these emails in the future?

"You've reached the storage limit on your phone. Go free...." How?

Just got a HTC Surround from ATT. Signed in to xbox live app, tried to do something and says" You've reached your storage limit." There is no place to go manage storage or delete anything. I get a similar message in other apps.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

I suggest you to update Storage controller drivers and check if it helps.

Steps 1:

  Press Windows key + X.

  Select Device manager.
  
• 
  Expand Storage controller.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and Update the drivers.
  

Steps 2: Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue
is with device. Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.

  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
