Windows 10: I keep getting these error everytime I start my PC, and when I press OK they keep coming...

Error: Please Insert The External Storage Media And Press Ok

My computer, HP 14-an013nr, said to do the Windows 10 update, but the storage was full so it suggested an external storage device... The problem is that now after using a usp drive and following the steps it is unable to reinstall the previous version. I've
tried this multiple times and even when it says "Restoring the previous version of windows" it always comes back to the "error please insert the external storage media and press ok" message. I can no longer use the computer. It will do NOTHING. It won't restore
the previous version of windows and only shows a black screen with the error message. Is there a way to save the thing or is it lost?

Since the above method did not help to fix the issue, let’s try different steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Microsoft Visual Studio and check.

To uninstall the Microsoft Visual studio try the below steps.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Control panel.
  
• 
  Click on program and features, locate for
  Microsoft Visual Studio, right click on the program and
  uninstall it.
  

Once you are done uninstalling the Visual Studio, go to the below link, download the Microsoft Visual Studio and install the same.

I suggest you to check if you are facing the same issue in safe mode.

Safe mode starts Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. It can help you troubleshoot problems on your PC. For example, if the problem doesn't happen in safe mode, you'll know default settings and basic device drivers aren't causing
the issue.

Also, I suggest you to follow the steps below:

Reset explorer.exe and check. Follow the below steps.

• Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
• In details tab, select explorer.exe and click on End Task.
• Click on File, select New Task and type “explorer.exe” and press Enter.

To start follow the below steps.

• Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
• Click on File>>Run New task, type explorer.exe and press Enter. It will display the Desktop.
