Windows 10: I keep getting this annoying pop-up with my audio, which then affects the sound the next...

I need some help. I've circled this annoying popup from Realtek Audio Console asking "Which device did you plug in?" When I didn't even taken my audio jack out let alone even touch the cable. Eventually, what this causes is my audio to mess up with the volume controlling itself from going low, back to normal, low again, then loud. This has nothing to do with my actual speakers as I've tested this issue with two different ones and it happens with my wireless headphones. Why is this happening, what's the cause and how do I fix this?Here's a video link showcasing this annoying issue: https://

• Press Windows key.
• Type Control Panel in the search box.
• Select Sound.
• Go to Communications tab.
• Click Do nothing.
• Chose Apply and Ok.

Audio popping.

What does everyone experience from Windows Volume Mixer? I found the system sounds crackle and pop but the Device (my dedicated sound card) doesn't, playing back the same sound...

If this was affecting just Windows system sounds I would let it go but I'm also getting the pops in applications and games. This definitely should not be happening with a dedicated sound card.

 

Windows 10 popping sound in speakers

Hi,

I have the exact same issue and I went through all the steps suggested above but none of them helped. I get the popping sound when any kind of audio is on. Even when external speakers or headphones are plugged in.

Do you have any other suggestions what to do?
