Windows 10: I keep getting "Unable to load conversation" in GroupMe when trying to accept an invite....

I have been invited to join a group. I keep getting "Unable to load conversation." I have reset the cache and data, restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled it, and changed the connection type. I have tried to scan the barcode of the group. It still says "Unable to load conversation." I have an Android.

Child unable to accept invitation

I just got my brand new laptop with Windows 10 already on it. When attempting to add my daughter as a child user I followed the steps, sent her an invite, which she did receive and clicks on [accept invite] but in the next step where it asks if she wants
to join the family, she gets this message: "Try another page. This link isn’t working.".

I've read other posts from other users and they seem to have gotten this same message when the invite went unanswered past the 14 days. This is NOT the case here. The laptop is new as of today. The invite was extended today. The invite acceptance was
being done today.

 

Family Room to GroupMe

It would also be great if there was some support for shifting the data in my current Family Room over to GroupMe. There are loads of shared appointments, images, notes and conversation threads and no way to sync them out into GroupMe.

 

Accepted family invites not displayed

I am having the same issue. I can't update my child's info until he accepts the invite (which we have done numerous times) but when the invite is accepted it states nothing can be done until
they accept, they'll join your family.

Microsoft needs to get his figured out because it isn't working and the fix listed in the above response doesn't work just sends you in a downward spiral to frustration town.
