    I keep getting white screens of death with Firefox and Chrome after a random amount of time


    I've had this issue for about a month now. It started when Chrome would crash and reopening it would just result in a white screen and no internet access. I switched to Firefox, and now that just stops responding after anywhere from 20 to 120 minutes. I bought a USB 3 ethernet dongle and it works fine but the issue keeps happening.

    I've disabled all power saving, deleted the network device and restarted, updated drivers, downgraded drivers, removed add-ons, run sfc.exe, restored to an earlier point, run every possible malware, spyware and virus scan, disabled almost everything from startup, disabled my NordVPN...nothing fixes it. I've also removed the last 2 updates. I really don't want to reinstall everything after a fresh install, but I'm starting to think I have to.

    Does anyone have any ideas? I've been building and troubleshooting my own systems since 1994 and I can't for the life of me figure this out.

    HI All,
    I have a Toshiba Satellite A665. I't going to be 7 yrs old in Oct. I'm running W 10. Lately, it seems to keep getting the white screen of death and I can't get out of it. If my web browser is open and say playing my Pandora station, I will still be able to hear it just not see it. I've got everything backed up to the cloud and an external HD at this point. Not sure how to fix. I use Norton Anti V & firewall if that helps.

    Explorer, Chrome or Firefox ?

    IE11 has adblock easy list too.

    Altohugh my no1 is still FF, the only thing that kinda sucks is it doesnt have full 1080p 60fps support @html5 (max 720p), IE11 plays that fine np.

    Random blue screen of deaths!!!


    I get blue screen of deaths usually when I'm watching YouTube videos or playing video games it also happens at random.
