Windows 10: i keep seeing new users under C:\Users

currently under my c drive i have 7 users why would this be
i should only have 2-3

Pictures not transferred after installing Windows 10

They'll be under either:

1) C:\Users\

or

2) C:\Windows.OLD\Users\

Under either folder, open your user account folder and you'll see your folders. The .OLD folder (#2 above) gets erased after 30 days, so move anything out of there you want to keep

 

Missing Admin User after W10 Upgrade

After upgrading to W10 I no longer see the user that was my admin user as a sign on option. I do see the user folder on the C drive and have been able to access it and confirm that data is still under the user.

The option to add a new user does not look like it will work as the old user was simply a name but did not have an email associated with it.

How can I activate the existing user account?

 

Well, in your case, you should have at least 5. Public, Default, Default.migrated (this is common, it's a result of upgrading), and Administrator. are 4 standard ones, then it looks to me like you have 1 local account (Panda) and possibly 1 Microsoft account (aaron, Microsoft account profiles typically start with the first 5 letters of the email address). The aaron.DESKTOP-80I64MU is likely the result of a clean install you may have done, and after trying to log in with a Microsoft account, it discovered there was already one there, so it created a second account using the random machine name assigned when you did the install.

If you have not done a clean install, and you've not used a local account or not used a Microsoft account, then there would indeed be something strange going on.
