Windows 10: i know explorer.e.x.e is a virus

explorer.exe is a virus i tryed to shut down but it didn't work i closed it in task manager.

E:\Setup.exe: The specified path does not exist

Is Drive E:\ Showing in File Explorer? Can you Explore the E: drive ? is Setup.exe listed in this drive? Is this a Virtual CD/DVD drive? If so, you can Right click Drive E:\ and choose to Eject it should disappear. If this is a standard drive, press the Windows key +X and choose Disk Management. Here you can Right click the drive and choose Change Drive Letter or Paths and give it a new Drive Letter.

 

Reserve System E

I checked the recycle bin there is no system reserved E listed. I was on a page that showed me the stuff in my system ( please know that I don't know what words to write ). The menu listed reserved system E. I right clicked on it and got another menu with several options. One of them was to "unallocate" it. Since I had previously seen a solid red line on system reserved E and kept getting pop up messages that system reserved E was full and no more space was available, I decided to "unallocate" it thinking that would free up space. Instead the action , I guess, Uninstalled it.
