I know the solution to unlock Account, use chrome browser at desktop computer PC open live.com sign in enter email address at password press forget password do not choose email for security click another option choose mobile number the rest is known for all

Do not worry we will help you with this issue.

Let us know if you are able to see any error code/ error message of this issue.

I suggest you to repair the Google Chrome browser and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows + x key to open a task list from the bottom left corner of the screen.
  
• 
  Select Programs and Features.
  
• 
  Right click on Google Chrome
  and select Repair and follow the onscreen instructions.
  

If the issue still persists, do the same as above to uninstall and re-install the browser.

• Click on Uninstall.
• Check the Also delete your browsing data box and then click the
  Uninstall button to remove Google Chrome from your computer. The process may take up to a minute.

Chrome glitch

As per the issue description on one of the three users Chrome is not working.
I would appreciate if you can provide us the following information to help us understand the issue better.

• The account on which you are facing issue with Chrome, does it have the administrator permission?
• Have you check with other browser? Was the result same?
• Is the issue specific to only one application or facing issue with other application too?

First, I would suggest you to use Internet Explorer and see if it brings any difference.
Here are the steps through which you can use Internet Explorer.

• 
  Press the Windows key.
  
• 
  Type Internet Explorer in the search box.
  
• 
  Right click on Internet Explorer
  (Desktop app).
  
• 
  Select Pint to task bar.
  
• 
  Try to use Internet Explorer from there and see if it brings any difference.
  

If you still want to use Chrome then I would suggest you to open the application Chrome in administrator mode and see if it brings any difference. Here are the steps through which you can open Chrome in Administrator mode.

• Press the Windows key or click on Start icon.
• Type Google Chrome.
• Right click on Google Chrome and select the option to Run As Administrator.
• If everything works fine by running chrome in administrator mode then you may pin it to the task bar.

How can I change the default browser that Continue on PC opens?

I too have noticed this.

Default Web Browser on my Android Phone: Chrome

Default Web Browser on my Windows 10 Desktop: Chrome

Using the Share feature, and selecting "Continue on my PC" option still loads it in Edge.

Can this be updated so that Windows honors the default web browser to launch this request in the selected default browser (Chrome/Firefox/etc)?

I do use this feature, although upon getting home and sitting down at my Desktop computer, I simply copy the URL from Edge and open it in Chrome, because I do not like Edge. I do not prefer to use Edge as I have many add-ons/extensions that I use with Chrome
and Firefox, and Edge does not meet my needs.
